Ghar ki Baat Hai…’ is a tingling light family comedy, which will bring a smile to every viewer’s face.

The story revolves around the hilarious situations and events in the lives of the Yagnik family, a young couple, Rajdeep and Radhika Yagnik, living in Mumbai along with Radhika’s unemployed brother Kapil Kumar aka Kaku. The constant one up situations between the brothers in-law and the wife playing the bridge between them gives way to a comedy of errors. How these diametrically different people unite as a family, is the essence of ‘Ghar ki Baat Hai’

Rajdeep Yagnik is a high profile executive always trying to struggle with his stress of achieving targets, an optimist and self proclaimed shayar, while his wife, Radhika is a shopaholic striving, to prove her point on every possible issue. Her favourite pastime is sharing her woes with her favourite radio jockey. Her unemployed, affable brother Kaku on the other hand, is at best just a day dreamer.

The highlight of the show is the character of Mr. X, who portrays a different character in every episode.

Adding spice to the show is their nouveu rich neighbor Mrs. Dolly Ahluwalia, along with her wannabe husband Mr. Ahluwalia and destructive yet funny son Happy Singh. Always, being a part of the Yagnik family’s antics, they add to the chaos and the humour of the situation that is ‘Ghar ki Baat Hai’
