Dilwales are a matter of the past. It’s now the gunwales who win over dulhaniyas (bride). This will be exemplified in Tangerine Digital Entertainment Pvt Ltd’s new show Gunwale Dulhaniya le jayenge - a daily sitcom that will air on SAB.

Talking about the show, a source from the production says, “'Gunwale...' is a daily that will launch soon on SAB. As the title suggests this is a tale of a don’s son who falls in love with a simple girl. Sudhir Pandey plays the don while actor Abir Chaudhary plays his son. Debutant Shruti Vyas plays the Dulhaniya. Other actors include Himani Shivpuri, Sushmita Mukherjee and Vijay Kashyap.”

'Dilwale...' will replace 'Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Iss Ghar Ki' in early March. Confirming the news, SAB business head Anooj Kapoor, “The date hasn’t been finalsied yet but Gunwale.. will replace Lo ho gayi.. soon.”

On Wednesday's live broadcast, the second group of 12 contestants were vying to be among this season's dozen finalists. The night's top three vote-getters will be revealed on the Fox series' Thursday episode.
