Bollywood Superstar Vinod Khanna teams up with the first Bahu of television – Smriti Irani, to present an engrossing family entertainer starting November 12 at 10 pm every Monday to Thursday, only on 9X.

‘Mere Apne’ is the story of a family headed by Kashinath Pandey (Vinod Khanna) and Sharda Pandey (Smriti Irani), proud parents who have instilled great values in their children, Aditya, Vrinda and Shanker.

Speaking about his character, Vinod Khanna aka Kashinath Pandey, said “Mere Apne is not just another family saga; rather, it goes much beyond that in a whole new and far more significant and entertaining manner."

Shot in the beautiful locales of Madhya Pradesh and Benaras, Mere Apne also has some of the most magnificent sets designed by Omang Kumar, who is also behind the grand sets of ‘Saawariya’.
